2420 Old Ivy Road Parking Notice

Dear 2420 Old Ivy Road building occupant,

Since early December, UVA Health Orthopedic staff have been parking in the IVY2 parking permit area due to construction in the U7 parking lot on Ivy Mountain. This shift has introduced more vehicles into the IVY2 parking deck and associated surface parking lot. Additional vehicles will continue parking here through the opening of the expanded U7 parking lot sometime in Spring 2025. Although there is sufficient space for daily parking needs, Parking and Transportation is aware that a few planned all-staff meetings will bring more cars to the location. The first of these days is expected to be Wednesday December 18. On this date, and future dates to be announced, Parking and Transportation will allow all IVY2 permit holders to park in the adjacent IVY3 and IVY4 parking areas as needed for additional parking availability. A sidewalk along Old Ivy Road connects these locations with the 2420 Old Ivy Rd building.
