Volunteers Are Essential
UVA's outstanding volunteers play a large role in shaping the University's future and take on varied roles:
- Members of pan-University boards or committees (e.g. – Council of Foundations, National Committee on University Resources, Parents Committee, Reunion Committees)
- Members of school and unit campaign or other committees (e.g. – young alumni committees, planned giving committees)
- Members of school/unit foundation & advisory boards
Volunteers who access constituent information are expected to sign the University Advancement Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Because the recruitment of volunteers varies greatly across business units, Volunteer NDAs must be administered locally by the staff member of a school or unit who is working with the volunteer. The online form is the fastest and easiest way to collect Volunteer NDAs and record them in Advance. Use the link below to access the online form.
