Ann Walker

Ann has worked in operational leadership and human resources management for over 25 years.  She is a dedicated management professional with experience in relationship management and a proven ability to create and maintain strong client relationships, execute business strategies, effectively manage change, and identify future business opportunities. Ann joined University Advancement in June 2017, spent three years with Advancement Community Learning, and a year in Advancement Services as the Associate Director, Gift Professing. She accepted the position of Associate Director for People Operations in January 2022. Ann is a native of Charlottesville and enjoys casual hiking, ballroom dancing, and most especially spending quality time with family and friends. As an empty-nester, she is looking for new hobbies to explore.
