Ashley Privott

Ashley Privott is UVA's Chief Employee Engagement Officer in University Advancement. In this role, she plans and convenes the Summer and Winter Weeks of Learning and monthly Collaboration Days. She also provides leadership for employee engagement programs, including internal communications, and champions flexible work.

Ashley has more than 20 years of advancement experience, serving in leadership roles in annual giving and alumni relations. She joined the UVA in August 2017, following more than a decade of service to her alma mater as the Executive Director of the James Madison University Alumni Association. In June, she rolled off of the CASE District III Cabinet and has been a presenter, conference track chair, board committee chair, and district conference co-chair. She also served on the national executive committee for CASE's 2021 All Districts Conference. 

Ashley graduated from Old Dominion University and James Madison University with degrees in Geology and College Student Personnel Administration. She lives in Richmond with her husband, Craig, and daughter, Max, and enjoys spending time at the beach.
