Sasha Monty

Sasha Monty joined University of Virginia in November of 2017.  As the Senior Associate Director of Strategic Stewardship for University Advancement’s Donor Relations team, Sasha oversees donor reporting, scholarship stewardship, pan-University giving societies, and major gift acknowledgements.

Sasha has extensive experience working with individual donors, building partnerships with foundations and corporations, and securing government funding for organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, and the nearly 100-year old Charlottesville-based nonprofit, ReadyKids. In addition to her work in the nonprofit sector, Sasha previously worked for the Morgan Stanley Foundation and as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility team at HSBC Bank where she managed nonprofit partnerships and employee volunteer programs on a global scale.
