Cvent Events App

With the Cvent Events app, Week of Learning attendees can easily access key event information via their mobile devices.

Downloading the App

There are two easy ways to locate the app for downloading:

1. Using the camera on your mobile device, point the camera at the QR code provided below. Tap the banner that appears, which will bring you to the Cvent Events app for easy download.

Or, 2. Go directly to the app store on your mobile device and search for 'Cvent Events'.

 

Accessing the Week of Learning Event 

Once you have downloaded the Cvent Events app onto your device, follow these steps to access the Week of Learning event:

  1. Open the app and type the event ID, UVAWL2024, in the search bar provided.
  2. Download the event within the app by selecting the downward arrow located next to the event name.
  3. Please fill out the required fields to log in, including first name, last name, and virginia.edu email address.
  4. A verification code will be sent to your virginia.edu email address. The app will require that this confirmation code is added before moving forward.
  5. Once you have submitted the verification code, you will have full access to the Week of Learning app.
  6. Take a look around and make sure to set up your profile with your photo and bio.
  7. To receive up-to-date event information on your mobile device, make sure you have notifications enabled. (Go to Profile -> Settings -> Notifications)
