TekTok: Updating your UVA Microsoft Profile Picture

Have you ever wondered how to update the image next to your name in Outlook, within Teams, and other Microsoft locations? This week’s TekTok provides quick and simple instructions for updating your UVA Microsoft account profile photo.

First, visit https://www.microsoft365.com/ and log in with your UVA credentials. Next, select the image in the upper right-hand corner of this page and navigate to My Microsoft 365 profile.

On this page, select the camera icon next to the circle image that shows your initials or an icon of a person above your name. This will bring up the “Change Photo” pop-up dialog. Select the “+ Change Photo” link to upload a new profile picture, then use the on-page + and - options to crop the image to a circle to fit best. After this, select "Apply" to apply your new profile photo.
